We cannot discover our true self

“We cannot discover, uncover or recover our true self because it’s not covered, it’s nonexistent. This is why we are determined to focus on outward, self-based pursuits like devotion, compassion, knowledge, understanding, practice, tradition, and so on; we will do anything not to turn inward. We want to create and preserve, but to awaken we must destroy.”

  1. Hi there!

I’m not sure if this email will actually be received by anyone, but I have been subscribed to your emailing list for a number of years now and I honestly do not remember the circumstances around how I subscribed or who the person is doing the posting or blogging. I really enjoy the readings when I receive them. I’m also curious to remember or know who the person is doing the posting? Thanks in advance. :)

    Best, Justin

  2. I later realized that this is or was (I think) Aly’s blog. If so, hello! :) hope you’re doing well.
